Payment and Insurance Information

I offer flexible payment options to help families access birth and postpartum doula support with clarity and transparency.

Accepted Payment Methods

Multiple payment options are available, including:

  • HSA and FSA cards

  • Credit and debit cards

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay

  • PayPal

  • Klarna

  • Afterpay

  • Affirm

  • Flexible payment plans

Clients may select their preferred payment method, and I will ensure it is included on the invoice.

Deposits and Payment Timing

A deposit or retainer is required to reserve all doula packages and due date availability.

  • Birth doula services: The remaining balance is due by 37 weeks of pregnancy

  • Postpartum doula services: The remaining balance is due by the first scheduled shift

All fees are fixed and are not dependent on insurance reimbursement or benefit approval.

Insurance and Reimbursement Support

Many families use HSA or FSA funds for doula services, including birth and postpartum care. Some plans may require a Letter of Medical Necessity, while others do not. Requirements vary by plan and are the responsibility of the client to confirm.

For families seeking insurance reimbursement or using employer sponsored fertility or family building benefits, I provide itemized invoices to support the reimbursement process.

Clients are responsible for confirming that doula services meet their specific plan requirements. While I provide documentation and guidance, reimbursement is not guaranteed and does not impact fees owed.

TRICARE Doula Coverage

I support eligible military families using TRICARE coverage for birth doula services in accordance with current TRICARE guidelines under the Childbirth and Breastfeeding Support Demonstration.

Please note:

  • Eligibility must be confirmed prior to services beginning

  • Covered services are billed in alignment with TRICARE requirements

Clients are responsible for confirming that their TRICARE plan and birth location meet eligibility requirements. I am happy to guide families through this process and provide required documentation.
